Perform a wide range of system administration duties on applications and other servers including install, debug, maintenance, upgrade and general support for both Physical and Virtual servers
Manages and monitors operations, activities and services of all servers, and supporting critical services such as Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Exchange Online etc.
Monitor software distribution status in the entire infrastructure and keep an updated status regarding the packages, collections and advertisements
Responsible for maintaining and deploying security patches to the server environment by following standard patching methodology
Develops operating procedures for system administration activities including system monitoring, performance tuning, backup & recovery, server architecture design and system maintenance
Planning and executing patch and service pack management, virus signature and engine updates including testing, deployment staging and documentation
Install, maintain and manage WSUS and other servers for automated updates and deployment
Document system configuration, processes and procedures
Make recommendations for future upgrades and server hardware capacity recommendations
Performs systems backups and recovery procedures and monitors daily server backup. In addition to participating in disaster recovery and business continuity testing
Install, maintain, monitor and enhance IT infrastructure systems (PCs, Servers, Storage, Network, Telephony)
General IT-Helpdesk/end-user support (mainly Windows-based systems)
Ensure the application of IT security policies.
What we're seeking for
Good understanding of computer systems
Minimum 3 years of experience in Information Technology Infrastructure and Systems Administration
Strong networking skills, LAN, WAN, VPN etc.
Very good knowledge and experience with Microsoft operating systems, Active Directory & Domain architecture, Group Policy, DNS, OS security, and systems patching (WSUS)
Good knowledge and experience with Linux (Debian)
Hardware & software troubleshooting skills
Good team player with the ability to work very effectively in a collaborative and team-oriented manner with other teams
Must have initiative and a positive work attitude and must be a quick learner. Must be confident, eager and willing to take on new challenges. Must be cooperative with good interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
